The Myth

The myth of the raven and the wolf stems from cultures as far as the Welsh traditions to those of the Native American religion. The story varies from culture to culture but all talk about the friendship of the wolf-bird (the raven) and the wolf as partners in the fight for survival. To see a raven and wolf hunting together in the Nordic tradition was seen as a positive sign that the battle ahead would be victorious. There is current scientific data to date that documents this unusual alliance in the natural world, making the myth a reality.
